About Us
Based on the Kennedy Highway just 15 minutes from Ravenshoe, Millstream Meadows is a 99 acre farm with a dedicated cattery setup.
When we purchased the property, the previous owners asked if we would like to continue running the cattery as it is the only one in the area. We have always had cats of our own and love all sorts of animals so it was an easy decision!
We enjoy welcoming a variety of different cats and love developing relationships with our feline guests who soon get used to their home away from home.
Pricing
Short Stays
For stays of 13 nights or less for a single cat
$18 per night
Longer Stays
For stays of 14 nights or more for a single cat
$15 per night
Multiple Cats
For 2 or more cats regardless of duration of stay
$15 per cat per night
Special Needs
For cats that require medical treatments such as daily injections or other special needs met.

Included in your price
Food & Water
We provide dry biscuits in the morning and a pouch of wet food in the late afternoon per cat. If your cat has special dietary requirements, you are welcome to supply your own food and we will ensure your cat is only fed what you supply. Every cat has access to fresh water at all times.
Kitty Litter
Your cat will have access to their own kitty litter tray with regularly refreshed kitty litter.
Attention
We are cat lovers too so your cat will receive regular attention in the form of pats, scratches, play, and conversation!
Comfort
Your cat will have his/her own enclosure with somewhere warm to sleep on cool nights and a breathable stretcher to lounge on when it's a little warmer.
Pickup & Dropoff at Ravenshoe Rural
For your convenience, we have an arrangement with Ravenshoe Rural so you can drop off there during opening hours and we will collect your cat as quickly as possible. Let us know what time you'd like to collect your cat and we will ensure he/she is returned there in time for you to pick up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to vaccinate my cat before it can stay with you?
No you don't. Your medical decisions for your cat are your own and we definitely don't judge anyone for those decisions.
Are flea and tick treatments required to stay with you?
As the cattery is located on a rural property, there are ticks present from time to time. Whilst the cattery is unlikely to ever have ticks, it's not impossible for a stray tick to get in, for this reason, we do encourage you to have some form of preventative in place. If you don't want to do so, please let us know as that information may become relevant in the unlikely event of a medical emergency.
What happens if my cat has a medical emergency?
Medical emergencies are extremely rare but in the event that there is one, your cat's wellbeing is our priority. We will attempt to get in touch with you immediately and if required, organise veterinarian attention.
What happens if I need to extend my cat's stay?
We know that life isn't always predictable so we are happy to be flexible wherever possible. Provided we have the availability, we are happy to accommodate additional unplanned nights at the same rate.
